Yes, I wrote the tagline over and over again on a piece of cardstock. It's the REDUX. |
My time in Nicaragua is over. I’m back in the United States of America.
I’m back to taking hot showers and drinking soda pop made with high-fructose corn syrup. I’m back to getting milk and eggs from a grocery store and not from a cow or chicken with whom I’ve forged a personal relationship. But there is Netflix here!
As you may have noticed, I’ve overhauled the look of the blog once again. This is radiant[allusions] REDUX 2013. It’s cleaner, it’s simpler, and it’s ready to rage.
Now that I’m an RPCV (Returned Peace Corps Volunteer) and I am no longer living abroad, this blog will naturally begin to transform a bit. For one thing, I will no longer be uploading pictures of pig slaughters and stories about exotic trees. I do however, hope to continue to use this site as a platform for my development as a writer and producer of quality content on the web, as well as a channel for expressing a unique Nicaraguan-flavored take on living in America.
Some things to look for on radiant[allusions] in the next few months:
- Updates and stories from the production of Country Kids, the documentary film about education in rural Nicaragua for which I’m currently writing music and editing.
- Lots of new drawings
- Collages
- Articles
- Photos
- And More!
